Thirteen’s scene had a few lines of internal thoughts, but after drawing the page, I was happy seeing how her thoughts came through in the art alone. Words would have been redundant.

I didn’t notice until the moment I started writing this commentary that the last two panels break the 180-degree line. Usually I’m pretty good at catching that kind of mistake at the thumbnail stage, thanks to years of film school having drilled that rule into my brain. Sometimes I catch it near the end of finishing the page, in which case I can usually flip the panel horizontally. In this case, that doesn’t work because of how Cass, Flint and Scurry are positioned.
